Redefining Success
Having spent 14 years working in the careers space, as a writer, consultant and coach, I understand what makes people feel successful in their career
and how to work with people to discover what they love, develop a growth mindset, progress to new levels, and command the highest salaries. However, I’ve also learnt that success is subjective, and it means different things to different people.
For me, success isn’t defined by money and status alone, it is more holistic than that and is as much about balance, a sense of contribution, and creating a career that is in harmony with ethics, beliefs and values.
With this in mind, I focus my writing services on career and personal development, but I also have a lot to say about forging a career that brings balance and happiness, digging into mental and physical health (and the connection between the two), family, spirituality, lifestyle and wellbeing.
I have been working as a consultant, coach, and writer in the careers and education space for 16 years with primary school age children up to C-level executives. With a background in psychology, education and teaching, as well as accreditation in several therapies, I offer 1-2-1 coaching, group work sessions, writing and consultancy, and alternative practices to support you in your career

My background is in psychology and education and I am a qualified teacher, as well as holding several accreditations to practice therapy,
including kinetic shift, Reiki, and EFT (tapping), and a master’s degree. I use my qualifications and varied experience to support my work in careers. I offer one-to-one coaching and group workshops, careers programme development, events, and online training. I contribute to a number of online and print publications and work with educational bodies, careers focused organisations, media agencies, therapy practices and recruitment agencies to produce articles, blogs, newsletters, press releases and course content, as well as being a careers expert for a number of websites.
I have written careers profiles for the UKs biggest go-to careers resource for higher education – Prospects.ac.uk, I have been resident careers expert at a number of websites including Careers Addict, and I create careers content for one of the world’s largest online course platforms.
A large part of my work also includes producing CVs, personal statements, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles. Other clients come from my work with the world’s number one influencer marketing agency IZEA, where I ghost write for some of the world’s best known brands in careers, education, and lifestyle.
I’m most known for my work with parents returning to work through my business Kids to Career
which has evolved to become part of Redefining Success as an annual masterclass, strengthening my brands emphasis on a career being lifestyle aligned and balanced.
